As a child, I remember my grandparents reading a story book about a blonde haired girl and a black haired boy who fell in love. Although they were poor as dirt their whole life, they raised six wonderful children as they fell deeper in love every day.
One year ago, that blonde haired girl moved to heaven leaving behind the black haired boy, now a white haired man. Today their blonde haired granddaughter ponders how blessed her life has been because of them. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa, for the example you have set and the lessons you have taught. I will never forget.
