Michael Buble has a way of making my heart melt into a puddle. You can be assured that my wedding playlist will contain quite a few of his soothing songs.
One of my favorite's came on the radio today. I stared out the window at the passing corn fields and my heart automatically went into "remember" mode. Usually, I feel it all at once. The pain from the past, the hope for the future, the sweetness of the now and the song leaves me feeling a mixture of them all.
But not today.
Today I feel gratitude.
Gratitude that I am heading off on this adventure unattached.
I get to go have the time of my life and come home a changed person with a clean slate. No commitments, no awkward "who are we nows", just fresh endless possibilities.
That makes me happy.
